Today I'm feeling low😔, just wanted to share and if possible please give some advice on how to tackle these situations.
Recently we had big project metting and our client gave appreciations to team members in the form of vouchers and certificate. So manager had to give 2 team members from team and honestly I always give my best in deliverables and my team members also tell me the same. Manager gave my name and other guy's name for award but in the end moment they replaced mine.

Considering moving from Deloitte Cyber to Morgan Stanley Cyber. Senior Consultant -> Associate. Would be a 35k increase in salary. My major concern is going from client facing to back office, and that maybe the growth curve is flatter at Morgan Stanley. What do you guys think?

Hi fishes, I have been on a project since 1 year right out of college. Scatter plot and reviews from my project manager are good and I feel I can continue with this project for a year more. But there is very limited learning (almost stagnant) which is project specific and WLB is also very good. So should I leave this project and search for a different one. I got an offer from Barclays for around 15.5 ctc. Yoe: 2.5 Tech stack : Salesforce I am in deloitte from 1 year now and there’s not much work in my project. Newish VP client has made one mistake after another for months, and exponentially bigger mistakes. Unreasonable mistakes like emailing the counterparty attorney confidential negotiation documents “thinking it was our external counsel”. Been patient, talked to him, he gets upset and always turns it on me. I’ve signaled this to EVP & GC several times and emailed them all the mistakes and shortcomings. What else should I do? Advice? Thank you.

On my new project they have a tradition where new people have to sing for the rest of them over zoom. I hate singing and do not feel comfortable doing this at all, especially since I live with my family. I’m scared that telling them that I don’t want to will reflect poorly on me and make me seem like I’m not a team player, but don’t see why I should have to do this since it’s not related to my job at all.
