PwC India Hi Folks, I left my stable job at Deloitte USI and moved to Germany for a better job. But my mom had a major health issue and I'm planning to travel back to India to support her as I'm a single child. I'm working in one of the top organisation in Germany with a base of 90k euro and looking for good opportunities in India. Coach
U should have waited
Yes I’m hindsight i should have just waited…
LOA should be irrelevant, maybe just your PML being emotional. Shut down ASAP is true since you are going to competitor but they still need to pay you 2 week salary
I think since it's a big company, they will not do it. They don't have authority to update your PTO or move it around.
They probably won’t fire you while you’re on leave but they may just tell you to go when you come back. I don’t know if two weeks pay is required however.
Why did you tell PML?
I told PML because my start date was supposed to be sooner but there is an issue that i needed to push back my start date so i ended up just thinking i would finish out my leave anyway and then submit
Last time I used Deloitte’s family leave you had to come back for minimum of 30 days or risk paying back the 16 weeks of time taken off (was written in the policy). It’s now been 2+ years so not sure if it’s the same still.
Whoa 😳 ok i hope KPMG is not the same….
Yea you usually have to pay back the LOA if you leave right after. Good luck
