Going to Amsterdam, Berlin, and London. Any recommendations for someone in their 20s trying to have a memorable trip?

Weed, Hookers, and Strippers - respectively.

Ah, gotcha. In Amsterdam don’t smoke weed, drink, and eat McDonald’s the entire time. Try to see the city. In London take in a soccer game. Plenty of massive soccer clubs with lots of history.

Hamburg has a better red light district than Amsterdam. Amsterdam is nothing what it was before. Also Munich over Berlin.

Good to know for next time. Any recommendations to make the best of the cities I am going to?

Coffee shops all over Amsterdam. Dampkrieg is a great one. I second the soccer idea for London. Berlin I haven’t done yet

Bmw museum, dachau camp, romienplatz, train ride to neuschweinstein (castle Walt Disney based his castle off of. About a 3 hour train ride.) hafbrauhaus (touristy but cool). Other than that hit the city and wonder around. Excuse all the misspellings

Any specific places for all of those things? Lmao

Take a canal tour in Amsterdam

Lived in London for a few years, highly recommend- museums, food from all over the world, street markets, pub scene

Things to do in munich?

Is it too early to splurge on a new car? 27th birthday Monday, driving VW jetta since end of college. Want to buy a Tesla 3 fully loaded (66k) or sports coupe/roadster (Porsche, BMW, Merc) Have about ~230k net worth: 80k in retirement accts 80k equity in condo (currently renting out w/ 15% Cash on cash return, $700 monthly cash flow) 70k in Liquid Investments (brokerage)

Thinking about moving to DC this Fall. What are some good neighborhoods for 20 somethings and how much should I expect to pay in rent?

Best life lesson I learned from Deloitte: don’t ever, EVER sign a contract that demands you return the sign on bonus if you leave within a year. I thought to myself, “I would never leave a company within a year”, but I grossly underestimated how much I could hate a job.

Because the Harry Potter comparison is played out, if the Big 4 were on Mt. Rushmore, which firm would be equated with which president?

Mentally I’m having a hard time in this industry. I snuck into tier 2 consulting from an unknown school where no one goes to consulting or IB. I’m surrounded by ivy leagers who are all smarter than me. I feel like I don’t belong. I feel I haven’t accomplished anything impressive or that I’ve gotten lucky with what I have accomplished. Sometimes I think i would be happier if I was a construction worker who didn’t even know what consulting was.

Left EY as a Senior (3 years in consulting) Currently a VP in tech transformation/ops improvement at a mid size bank (2 years in) jumping back to consulting - Reasonable to expect manager role?

Trying to learn Italian and I get bored with Duolingo quicker than I care to admit. Is there a "fun" way to learn, maybe a more interactive/game app? Sounds juvenile, but there has to be a better way

New MBA hire, this is my workspace. Does my team hate me already?

Accenture 🐟, recruiter reached out about a tech strategy role for "tech strategy and advisory." I'm not familiar with the different groups within accenture. It's this actual Accenture Strategy or something else? If anyone has any insight into this group, would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance! @Accenture #Accenture (sorry not sure how to tag companies in a post on fishbowl)

What’s the best way to break into data science from a non- technical background?

The senior manager on my new engagement is a perfectionist and loses temper if things are not done exactly the way he asked for. Suggestions on how to deal with such managers?

Anyone know which athlete got off the plane at DCA? People kept meeting him and giving him their business cards lmao
