Hi fishes, Dm me for referrals I can refer you

I am getting a Analyst designation at delloite for a 1.7 years experience of it experience.
Should I try to get the consultant designation as the salary range will also open a bit as they r giving me 9.5. Should I just wait a few more months to get 2 years experience and apply the consultant position.

You’re going during shoulder season so you should do better than if you went now. However some European hotels are naturally small so an “upgrade” may only be a few square meters of room space.
Solve for location
Not peak tourist season, but not winter.
Got it - so sounds like I might as well just book a cooler local hotel especially if it’s cheaper? Thanks all!
Yeah and save those points for another destination where you find other hotels more expensive.

If you have Marriott gold status, I can almost guarantee you won’t get upgraded. I’ve (unfortunately) experienced all levels of Marriott status and only started to see upgrade perks at Titanium.
Can’t speak for Hilton, but I’m sure it follows a similar method that only higher levels of status are beneficial when it comes to upgrades
I think regardless of status, automatic upgrades are not reliable
Only time Marriott has ever upgraded me at gold status was when the shower didn’t work in my room…

I got upgrades as Hilton gold to a really nice room BUT the hotel was a ghost town. The other 8 weeks I was there I didn't get upgraded

Just went with titanium status and diamond status.
Got a small upgrade to nicer rooms at the Hiltons, only got an upgrade at a Marriott where I used a suite night
