There is a rental car shortage right now.

There have been several news articles about how demand is so high in Hawaii these days that cars were renting for over $1k a day. I think you might just be out of luck

Check Turo and HUI. Both were available and reasonable for next week. Hui is like zip car and $100 a day

If Uber and Lyft are available again (since Covid) that will likely be a better option anyway. Rental car services in Hawaii are horrible and crazy expensive and you might get stuck waiting in line for an hour plus. Never had an issue getting a Lyft and you’ll want to walk the beach area anyway.

Use one of the local sites that aggregates. I’m seeing plenty for that week for less than $100 per day http://hawaiidrive-o.com/index.html

Are Airbnb’s just as non-existent?

Airbnb's are plentiful but booking fast. I saved 5 and by the next day 3 were booked

Are they going to add more cars throughout the summer??

Try Turo

Got a message saying I could change my United flight with no change fee because of an itinerary change. I checked and there are fully refundable rates I could change to (current rate is not fully refundable). Couldn't I change it to a fully refundable rate then... Get a full refund? What's the catch? Is it that normally you would pay $200 change fee to go to a fully refundable fare? In that case it still seems better than losing your entire fare in the case you really can't make a flight.

My firm is giving out surprise mid year bonuses to associates hitting the prorated annual bonus cutoff. I had a major injury for which I worked through treatments for about 3 months Jan-March. I didn’t take any time off, but I did set hard boundaries to make it to PT and medical appointments and not overwhelm myself. I’m off by 50+ hours to the target to receive bonus. Do I say something about being ineligible for the bonus or let it slide since it’s a big gap?

Last night's buy at 3096 goes 1.5 points over the objective that I called last night in Europe. There were two HWB long buying opportunities last night. New Target 3159.25 probably hit in today's NY session. We are trading Micro HWB's right now. Basically, we are goin to hit new highs and create a potential double top situation. Be careful being long at that new objective. If it's a dip into new highs situation, we could sell off violently, like we did yesterday. Bullish Above 3126.
