Hi Everyone, I have joined IBM 2 weeks back and project is not assigned to me yet. Now the thing is IBM has my previous company as client, Now HR asking me to work over there for atleast 6months. But am not at all interested to go over there and work.

Can we reject this project and ask IBM HR to show me some other projects. TILL NOW NO OTHER PROJECT IS SHOWN TO ME

Hey Everyone! I was let go of a tech startup. Mostly doing BD, 65k just moved up to an Account Manager role at 75K +5k (Quarterly Bonus)≈90k/year.

The new company I work for Imports Sustainable Restaurant Products. And I focus on long term sales cycles. Nothing too sexy about it tbh. What are your thoughts on this move and I’m looking to grow my career to make 200k in a couple years any advise from anyone? Is this possible with this experience should I look somewhere else? My manager casually threw out that she had an exec tell her it’s fine if she wants to close my division down next year. We are a niche team in a large company. I asked her to clarify as I am worried about my team (and me) she said we would be “well taken care of” as in receive severance…she was so casual about it and said she didn’t know what she would do - we’re performing well, but it’s a small market. What do I do? Warn my team? Look for jobs? I have been here for 20 years w/niche skills…

Coming with 8 years of international sales, account management & shopper marketing experience, I’m getting Retail Associate/Sales Associate offers by CPG companies with as low as $18/hr and $0.46 per km fuel.

While I think it’s a great opportunity to learn about the Canadian market as a new resident, it would break my bank and I would have to buy the car for this roles while living in Midtown Toronto. It doesn’t make financial sense to me.
