Going to NY for my bday end of this month. Looking to book between Renaissance NY Chelsea hotel and Moxy NY Chelsea. Anybody stayed at those and have some suggestions? Also, what is the “Destination Amenity Fee” Renaissance charges? What all does it include? Tried looking up on their website but not much info.

All hotels in NYC charge a resort fee, which is beyond dumb because there’s no resort. I’ve found whenever I asked the hotel what the resort fee covers, they generally just remove it. Worth asking!

Resort fee in NY seems absurd to me. I know the Intercontinental charges such fee but give you breakfast/laundry credit. But for Renaissance that makes zero sense

Moxy is small and chic, I like the Renaissance in Times Sq but don’t know about the one in Chelsea.

Renaissance Chelsea is my go to for NYC. It is SO nice!!!

So, this is… evidence of personal growth?!🥴 I can’t even be jealous because I’m just so like wtf, 🤮🙄🤦‍♀️!

Business etiquette question: when traveling with your boss is it okay to ride your boss's coattails with regard to airline status. For example, he gets free checked bags so he will check mine with his to get higher unloading priority and to save the company a few shekels. I also use the priority lines with him when we need to go to the airline counter and when we board the plane. I am American & travel mostly to latin American countries (since feelings towards queues might change on culture).

Has anyone transitioned into product management? I would love to hear your story! I have 8 years experience in project management but I don’t know how to pivot. I don’t think I want to pivot internally because I’ve heard negative things about our product management teams. I’ve been thinking about moving into project management at a SaaS company but that is proving to be hard since I have no SaaS experience. Would love to hear anyone experience on moving into product management.
