St Regis is the obvious choice. What’s your point budget and how many days?

3 nights and willing to spend 15k SPG/45k Marriott per night.

I think the St-Regis is 30k SPG per night.

JW Marriott - Essex House

JW Marriott Essex House is nice. Good lounge and great location. There aren’t any decent SPG options for your budget.

What about the Renaissance midtown?

I mean, if you’re going to Manhattan you’re probably trying to spend as little time as possible in the hotel and checking out all the famous breakfast/lunch/dinner/clubs no?

Westin Times Square has been great to us every time we’ve gone. Be prepared to tip big at the St. Regis tho it’s a beautiful property.

A1 ya indeed which is why I don’t want to break the bank

I really like the Renaissance Midtown, new rooms, nice lounge, good central area

Fan of w union square. Fantastic location. May be out of your budget

Idk what people are talking about for Renaissance midtown. When I stayed in January, place was a dump.

Care to explain D2?

I would stay out of Times Square as it remains noisy all night, even on a high floor.

If you’re OK with less fancy, I like the Element Times Sq West - comfy bed, nice to have kitchenette for bfast

As far as preferred gender pronouns go, I’m all about choosing he, she, xe, ze, whatever you want to describe yourself as - but can we please rethink using “they” and “their” to describe a single person? It gets confusing ya’ll. There’s zero judgement here, just grammatically speaking it introduces so much ambiguity and misunderstanding into the English language. That is all. Feel free to clap back if you think I’m out of line or misunderstanding something - always here to learn

Ladies, I do plaintiff’s personal injury for high value cases. I’m a 4th year in Chicago. I don’t see this type of law being a good fit for the rest of my career but I have no idea what type of law I should switch to. I’m totally lost. Since COVID networking has been harder for and I don’t have any real relationship or mentor with someone in the legal field. Work life balance is important to me and I’m currently making 70k (ugh). What law do you practice? What do you like? What do you hate?
