St Regis is the obvious choice. What’s your point budget and how many days?
3 nights and willing to spend 15k SPG/45k Marriott per night.
I think the St-Regis is 30k SPG per night.
JW Marriott - Essex House
JW Marriott Essex House is nice. Good lounge and great location. There aren’t any decent SPG options for your budget.
What about the Renaissance midtown?
I mean, if you’re going to Manhattan you’re probably trying to spend as little time as possible in the hotel and checking out all the famous breakfast/lunch/dinner/clubs no?
Westin Times Square has been great to us every time we’ve gone. Be prepared to tip big at the St. Regis tho it’s a beautiful property.
A1 ya indeed which is why I don’t want to break the bank
I really like the Renaissance Midtown, new rooms, nice lounge, good central area
Fan of w union square. Fantastic location. May be out of your budget
Idk what people are talking about for Renaissance midtown. When I stayed in January, place was a dump.
Care to explain D2?
I would stay out of Times Square as it remains noisy all night, even on a high floor.
If you’re OK with less fancy, I like the Element Times Sq West - comfy bed, nice to have kitchenette for bfast
