1. Be prepared for horizontal rain and cold weather and limited day light.
2. Old town is really nice
3. They have archipelago tours not sure if open during winter though
4. ABBA museum
5. Try swedish pancakes and pea soup
6. Go for ‘fika’
7. You can also go to their nearest college town called Uppsala
8. Go to the bars in sodermalm
9. Go check out stureplan, it’s a fancier area
10. Shop at zara and hm, they tend to have better selections of clothes in sweden
11. Sveavagen is like their main street, so if you go up and down that street, there are a lot of bars.
12. Go to the royal palace

Great city, but winters are cold.

Strandvägen 1 is a pretty good restaurant with a fun bar scene at night.

Also, Sheraton is probably my favorite SPG hotel in Stockholm. They’ve been pretty consistent in upgrading me to suites...upgraded all 4 times I was there, and 3 of the times they upgraded me to their huge suite with living room.

I would say hit or miss, ive seen both ends of the spectrum. There are boutique hotels that are part of the spg network as well. They’re pretty cool and very Scandinavian. Oh also very beautiful people, physically speaking. Lol

Keep the suggestions coming. Is the weather better if I go in late October ?

@OP- won’t make a difference. I speak conversational Swedish if your going for cyber and work at EY.

Oh one more ... East is an amazing restaurant. i have tried their entire menu and everything is good. I miss stockholm.

I am in my early 30s and want something ‘casual’ from my dating life (basically a hot guy I can see from time to time, no strings). I am busy and don’t have time for anything else. Despite saying this quite clearly every date I go on, the guy seems to think there’s more to it. Basically the more I say- I want something casual, the more they push the whole ‘let’s get to know each other’ thing. Am I missing something here? It’s extremely frustrating
