Going to Vegas the first week of November with girlfriend and another couple. Any tips on things to do? Lots of shows aren't running, a few have come back (piff the magic dragon).

Planning on gambling a little, heard there are 2-deck $5/hand blackjack tables at the Main Station casino. I'm decent at counting cards but not at tables using 8 decks.

Other than that I believe the games with best odds are craps and pai gow?

Staying at the Waldorf Astoria. And recs on food?

Of course, goes without saying, though I get some people don't.

Also think it's funny/sad that we needed so many public awareness campaigns around washing hands... Nasty to think so many people weren't washing their hands before/after eating...

I do not recommend counting cards. The odds are high they will catch you. If you're new to blackjack (like haven't really played it in casinos) the dealers will help you out. Don't do the side bets, double down when you should. And don't forget to tip your dealer. I played at Aria last time I was there. I did the $25 tables (they have $15, $25, and $100). The strip is really long (like 5+ miles) so even though something is on the strip it may not be close by. The Strat has Skypod which lets you see out over the whole valley. It's kind of neat to see at night. There are some thrill rides there as well and a rotating restaurant. I did dinner at Prime when I was there. It's amazing, but also $$$$. It's right on the water at the Bellagio so you can see the fountain show during dinner depending on where you are seated. The volcano show at the Mirage is also entertaining. It's outside like the fountain show.

Cool! And I think one thing that gives it away with counting cards is betting super small and then suddenly making a large bet when the deck is hot. I only intend to use it as a minor boost to narrow the house edge a little. I think it's also just a fun mental exercise and would otherwise bet "normally"

Waldorf Astoria sounds like a very old hotel, hope they renovated it. I would have recommended the Cosmopolitan

Not sure when you stayed there last, but it has been renovated at some point since it was rebranded from Mandarin Oriental. I have amex credits that are use or lose so a $1k stay will be $200 out of pocket. Will bag a cool 88k points which is almost a stay at the nice Conrads overseas

If anyone is interested in taking a summer trip to Myrtle Beach from 7/29-8/5, I am renting out my timeshare with Marriott's OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dunes. This resort is right on the beach and offers many fun activities for the whole family! The two-bed, two-bath condo has a fully furnished kitchen and can fit up to 8 people. I am ideally looking for someone to rent it out for the entire week for about 3K total. Message me for more information!

Deutsche Bank- 30 +5 lpa (wfo, but it's in Mumbai, cost of rent is too damn high)

Still I'm preferring deutsche bank because a stint of finance may open up plenty of exit options for me. Also should I ask deutsche bank to counter zs offer? Im planning to join Deutsche Bank, they have already extended my date of joining now if I say I got an offer on last moment it would make a bad impression.

I currently work as an associate marketing manager for 2 years, I previously worked on the financial operations team. My manager was very patient and trained me in all our systems and my tasks. This was also during the pandemic so a lot of calls, sharing screens on teams. She was very hands on but I took as because I'm younger, new in the digital marketing world and she making sure I was set up for success. Fast forward to 1 year and half she became a helicopter manager.
