Gonna be cashing out my PTO since I’m moving to a new job. That’ll be around 7,500 after taxes. Should I just throw it all in VOO or buy some blue chips? Was looking at MSFT or maybe even V

No problem! I’ve done many back tests and VUG seems to be the winner over time. Doesn’t predict the future but it’s a good indicator.

I’ve been accepted to a M7 deferred MBA program where I have the option to enroll within the next 2-5 years. My plan is to enroll in ~2 years and I’m curious to hear if anyone has advice on how to plan for it financially. My firm has tuition reimbursement but it’s taxed so I’ll have to pay ~30% of tuition once I return. For living expenses, would you recommend that I start hoarding cash in anticipation for the program or should I invest now and take out loans when the time comes?

what’s the projected fall out from this? anyone ever file a federal return late? i’m guessing it’s too late to file the extension so might as well submit the return ASAP

Got promoted last year in October. Got an offer back in March 2021. My current company retained me stating that they will promote me in October but compensated me with a cash bonus. Things took a wrong turn and I landed up in a shitty project.Zero technical growth.

Got another offer similar to previous one. Location is my hometown. Profile is good.

If I resigned, I will lose the retention bonus & won’t be getting paid for the next 3 months + festive season is starting.

This client is a literal nightmare and I’m losing sleep worried about whether their actions will lead to consequences for us. Do I lateral to avoid this tanking my career??
