A lot of these jobs are like 50-300 employee small shops with a low performing workforce. I bet a role like this will be listed as 40 hours a week, but realistically you could do it in 10 or less and just sit around watching cat videos all day.
Basically how it feels like my job sometimes lol. I have to really stretch to have something to do for 40 hours.
The disrespect lol
Maybe for 20 hours a week
Not everyone get paid B4 or national firm salaries
99% sure I left the firm SM1 is referring to a little over a year ago. They are not paying what bigger firms are paying. Even when they tried to retain me they didn’t come close to my offer.
Also is it a low cost of labor area?
Sadly, that’s a pretty standard salary for the southeast coast of NC where I live. Benefits here are terrible too, so I stay on my husband’s health insurance. And it’s not cheap to live here - I’d say MCOL. They wonder why they can’t find anyone to work in this area when rents and housing are so high but employers are stuck in the pre-pandemic mindset of low wages, skimpy benefits, long hours, and work onsite 🤔
Sorry to hear. I live in Raleigh but work out of a HCOL area remotely.
Great learning opportunity. That sounds familiar.
Stop covering up the name of the company. If they have the audacity to put that out there everyone should know their name so they can steer clear.
Yea if you want me to work 15 hours a week
Damn I make $95k as a billing analyst for a mid size company…this is not cool. DM me.
Damn! Would love to know where!
But the fun!!
Idk what the COL is like in Colorado but this is definitely possible in some areas
