I had interviewed with another Big 4 firm couple of weeks ago and the hiring manager said during the interview that I will hear back by the middle of next week. I followed up with HR last Wednesday and they said the team is still interviewing other candidates but I should hear back early next week (while also saying ‘no news is good news’) which is today (Tuesday) and still haven’t heard back. Is it acceptable to follow up again tomorrow (Wednesday)? Am I being too desperate?
