Five interviews in, all pumped with enthusiasm and received well, then ghosted by the recruiter. It’s been over a week, two friendly follow up emails, and no responses. This along with two other opportunities where the screening recruiter met with me, went great, and they won’t respond either. Can anyone help me not loose my mind at this point?!

My experience in healthcare is pretty niche, almost exclusively in Neurodiagnostics and surgical neurophysiology but I am trying (desperately) to transition out as the burnout is incredible. I have a masters in healthcare management but not much experience. I’ve only had 2 interviews in 2 years but I’m told that I’ve been applying for jobs I’m overqualified for so that’s why. Made it to final on-site interviews, but just got the email from the recruiter saying they’re passing due to “other candidates that were a stronger match”. I asked the recruiter to have a quick chat to close the loop. Anyone have any experience with this? Fellow introverts...can I only advance in my career if I take on a leadership role? The thought of this terrifies me. My current boss hasn't exactly given me the confidence that would reassure me that I'm leadership material. He constantly questions my design choices, which I'm able to defend. Hello! I have 9 years total of healthcare experience and 5 years of that I was a Residential supervisor for a brain injury rehabilitation. I’m an LCSW with 7 years experience. Currently working as an EAP consultant for an insurance company from home. The pay is good but I hate being on a call queue and the schedule is SO rigid.
