Is having an all-female event in a company setting inherently sexist? Isn’t defining who is allowed to attend an event based on gender the definition of sexism and should not be allowed?

BAH and “diversity”. A joke. Are you represented at your firms senior leadership levels? The BAH office here on the west coast addressed the BLM during a virtual all hands a few weeks ago or so. They asked a black employee to make a statement about it (typical) but what really irked me is how they showed a senior leadership offsite photo. This photo consisted of all the SAs and above. 16 people. All white, 1 black. No Asians, no Hispanic, no IPOC. How diverse is your senior team?
Came for industry and for the first time in my life, it appears race and gender have factored in my performance rating.. so sad!
I’m leading an initiative to promote Diversity + Inclusion. I have one practice telling me one thing, another practice lead telling me they want another thing (and to keep it within our group), and the organization lead telling me they just want to be involved! And then a set of HR regulations I must follow that none of them are pleased with. I feel like I have pressure from all angles and am just trying to do something good 😞😞😞
