But I would also consider adopting an adult left dog from a shelter! They tend to be already house trained and won't need as much outside time as a younger dog. Regardless of breed, all puppies need to go potty a lot. Plus, you'd be saving a life! 😉
ADOPT DON'T SHOP. Please! What PD1 said.
Adopt don't shop dude. There's so many little dudes needing homes, that's are stupid like110k dogs were put down in April this year. Also non-purebreds normally have less health complications and generally live longer.

I have a poodle/bischon mix and she's so sweet and fun. Loves to act like a big dog and could snuggle 'til the end of time!

Frenchies maybe? They are good apartment dogs, rarely bark.
Plus mutts are one of a kind, look how cute my fox dog is:
Ah, Champion always picking up all the points for cuteness:)
I'm in the same boat as OP. I do plan to adopt, but it's hard to find the right pup for me. After having a pit, I definitely want a small and chill pup, but above all else, low shedding!! Can't. Deal. With. The shedding! LOL. I was told to look for any poodle mixes, yeah?
Never been into poodles but sat next to a toy poodle for a two hour bus ride and almost died if cuteness!:)
I love mutts too!
I mean look at her! She's my life!
@AD1 I went to a humane society in my town and asked to see the smaller breeds and saw my angel! I took her for a walk and she jumped up and down and would not stop, so I knew she was the one! Her owner was elderly and had cancer, so he had to give her up. The shelter happened to be a kill shelter too, so I'm a big advocate of rescuing!
Adopt! That's how I got this wonderful creature!
A mini poodle would be good! Or a yorkie or dachshund (but they're usually mean little buggers)
Ya, puppies are tons of work and not ideal for an advertising schedule. I adopted mine from Badass Brooklyn animal rescue.
I have a pair of Pekingese and they are great. However, I would suggest starting with an adult dog over a puppy.
Shih Tzu but they need maintenance
OMG! So cute! I think you've posted her before, adorable fuzzball! I don't know how to find pups like that (I know, it's a lame excuse, I guess)... The fuzzy mutts have been growing on me big time! How did you find your baby girl?
Aww cutie!!!
Thanks for all the advice everyone
Thanks for sharing, kpmg! I got my pit bull mix from the spca where I had a complete meltdown crying seeing all the pups in cages and I have not been back in about 13 years. I think I'm partially terrified of going to the shelters because of that, I get super distraught over it, but I know I'll have to if I want a pup again... There's a fuzzy baby waiting for me out there... Soon!
