Good Morning, I am looking for recommendations around automating FMLA/STD leave requests, distributing paperwork and tracking due dates. We currently use an excel spreadsheet to track this information and distribute paperwork via email or US mail. How do your employees request leave and what tools do you use to ensure you are responding within the requirements for FMLA?

If you have the budget, outsource. We use Lincoln Financial to admin our fmla/std/ltd, and parental leave.

I have a manager who doesn’t seem to like me very much. Talks to me in a super condescending tone like I wasn’t an experienced hire & know what I’m doing. He will flat out ignore me even on calls when I say hi or good morning.
I’m not sure if it’s because he’s “old school” but once had other team mates in his office (all male) for lunch and didn’t invite me (the only female on this team). I thought I had a super progressive team but every day is telling me that’s not the case.
