Recruiter had no feedback other than there was another candidate who’s experience fit better. Feeling defeated and also unsure how I’ll ever exit consulting

I’ve practiced and practiced interview answers, created stories using the STAR method, but inevitably in the actual interview I always freeze up and forget everything/fumble over my words 😭 Even harder for me in virtual interviews. Do you guys have any tips for me? Anyone else struggle from this?

Qq: filed my i485 in oct with i140. I140 was approved in May after I switched to pp. I expect my i485 to be reviewed in 1-2 months based on what I see in trackitt. A recruiter from my dream company reached out. They are offering a really similar internal role to what I do now (and is in my job description vs their). If I actually pass interviews, what are my risks? Will I have to start perm from the beginning? Will I lose months to process my gc case? Should I even try to move now?
