I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

I was in Medicare sales and left asap! Try transitioning to recruiting maybe?
Join a staffing company.
Would that pay decent in a entry level position?
Look for a saas sales role at a mission driven company. That’s what I did when I was sick of selling a commodity product (ie: payroll). Selling distributive technology that is solutions oriented and helps people can be very fulfilling.
I agree with this! That is kind of the route I was thinking you might like! I would def give it a try.
Yeah recruiting seems nice but my company isn’t hiring for recruiting and I found out it’s only 30k a year here. Will another company hiring me for recruiting with no experience?
The ones that usually hire entry is staffing agencies...it's a low base but the commission potential is there..and once you out a year in there you can do in house recruiting for a larger company with a way higher base.
I'm in medicare sales too....I'd say try entry level recruiting at maybe a staffing agency. Usually the quota is one placement a month and the commission is pretty good.
Also you could just be an independent agent or work with a carrier directly. When you work with a carrier directly it's all inbound leads.
Also all tech companies hire SDRS with no experience needed
