Accenture strategy: How is ADP project experience viewed when decisions are made regarding career progression, bonus, etc.?
Deloitte S&A comp for SA with 5 years of exp?
A question for Big 4 peeps - if you know the salary range in the group you wanna go for is 150k to 170k, how much should you say when the HR asks you how much you want? Is 180k too much to start with? (Didn’t want to start with 170k since they will only come back with lower I assume)
A startup offered me 700 “Options” in addition to base + bonus. Do y’all think this lets me buy 700 shares in the future or 70,000 (700 x 100 shares per contract)?
Considering a move to ZS as a tenured direct admit partner. What is the average salary for a Y2/3 Principal at ZSA? FWIW, coming from MBB
In terms of total comp, who do you think makes more: an EP at an agency or a mid level producer at a FAANG company?

What is the relationship between amount of work sold and bonus, and at what level does that start to matter?
Hi All - would someone be able to give me a guide to compensation for senior associate ~3-4 years experience in London? Also is there an enormous difference between EYP/S& and say L.E.K./OW/OC&C etc? Thank you.
Does anyone have insight into compensation bands for consultants in the communications or public affairs fields? I see a lot of posts about salary for Cs, SCs, Ms, etc (wayyy more than what I make!) but I know ranges on here include some career disciplines that are typically more lucrative. I can’t tell if I’m in range for the offering I’m in or if I’m severely underpaid.
Need help reallocating my retirement accounts. Open to ideas and feedback. 26M - $125k salary + equity at a startup. Done well in brokerage, but need to fix my retirement (Roth specifically). Picture below
Looking for some advice. I made 150k on GME but then lost 100k in the hype. Despite coming out net positive I feel like an idiot for being where I started after gaining so much. I recognize I broke a lot of my trading rules and I essentially was trading on emotion which lead to my loss. If it matters my portfolio is about 80k and I make about the same in salary. So this was the most money I’ve ever handled or even traded. Advice?
What kind of roles can i apply for in industry with less than one year of experience in FDD, but similar comp as an S3 in HCOL city?Feeling burnt out and had an emotional breakdown yesterday, so I’m looking to get out.
Salary of a L4 employee in Amazon Singapore
Lolz is it bad that I almost want to get let go from my job cause I’m so tired of working. 60+ hours scheduled for the rest of the summer with more hours planned on getting tacked on. Honestly not sure if I’m also salty cause no salary increase, or if this is just how PA works.
Trying to decide between two portfolio ops roles, both in the Bay Area: Small-ish VC firm, ~135k base + 35k bonus Medium PE firm, ~115k base + 115k bonus Which would you choose? I’m leaning towards the PE firm bc it’s more hands-on, faster learning curve, and higher TC, but the VC role seems to have a better WLB and generally sounds cooler (getting exposed to VC vs continuing in the corporate world). What do you think?
Just finished final round at a company and will be discussing compensation soon. How do I leverage an offer from a competing firm for a higher salary at the firm I’d actually like to work at?
Hi everyone! Any hotel recommendations (Marriott preferably) to stay in Berlin and Hamburg? Thanks!
Poll: do your work clothes still fit? Do you know where they are? Do they smell from being stashed away for so long? I think I’ll need a new wardrobe
Can anyone share comp ranges for Sr. Asc banking strategy groups (NYC)? Also any comments on lifestyle would be helpful 😊
Any ex consultants who are now in VC? How did you transition (direct/post-mba)? Pros & cons? Do you like it?
Does anyone bring up unvested RSUs during comp conversations for new roles? How much success has that had? I feel like the golden handcuffs are too strong otherwise.
How’s the Royal Hawaiian Resort? Thinking about redeem 5 nights there. Worth it? 20000 points per night .
WFH seems to be the new standard policy for both FT and freelancers because of the coronavirus. To gain perspective, lets do a roll call. Onsite vs WFH Your City Role
I got the J&J vaccine (only one I could get back in April) and unlike the MRNA vaccines, it looks like there is very little data on how it performs against the Delta variant. Any other J&Jers out there feeling a little nervous?
Stay or go? 3rd year associate 65k salary or go to unrelated industry fp&a focused more towards analytics for 85k
Hi everyone. I’m looking for new work actually. Currently working but I’m looking for more opportunities as my current role is a contract one. My experience lies within data science, data analysis, public health analysis, consulting, financial reporting, analysis & planning and project management. I’d appreciate if anyone could connect with me or help me out 🙂
Anyone else historically a star performer and being told their performance is subpar since COVID? Not sure if it’s the additional stress/ distractions at home with a 10 mo old, wfh burnout/lack of motivation or what, but most importantly, wondering how to get past it and bounce back?
We risk exposure and bringing it home to our families every time we walk into work, yet are limited to time off work without penalty. What's your sick leave policy?
Do people send thank you notes to interviewers right after interviewing? Have an interview coming up but don’t have everyone’s emails. I was taught to do this. Is this expected?
Is it normal for teams to lose it on each other on a regular basis? I’m fairly new to the B4 and never experienced it at former firms. It starts at the top and it’s starting to take a toll on my performance. Not sure if I need to suck it up and deal with it or start thinking about changing teams. TIA
Need some advice - been at the D for a year and have been on the same implementation project for over a year. Have a technical background and am thinking of starting to look for exits to industry but also am curious what strategy projects are and if I would be interested in the work. Is it worth networking onto a strategy project at the D or should I just continue to look for industry exists and then go b school and then try for MBB/T2 ?
I’m leaving my firm, and a prospective employee (who went to my law school and is actually unknowingly applying to fill the position I’m vacating) reached out to me after her interview via e-mail to ask about my experience at the firm. Can I contact her to answer her questions about the position? I can’t see why it would be a problem, but something is giving me pause and I can’t put my finger on why. Thoughts?
Any tips or advice on negotiating salary when receiving a job offer? How can I ask for more without the risk of losing the offer?
Any partners who switched from B4 to MBB, if so what was your experience and how was the transition? Would you do it again?
