Interviewed for a sr. PM last Thursday. Was scheduled for 30min but we went to an hour and had a really good conversation. The questions I got asked I was told the answers were perfect by the hiring manager. I felt really good coming out of it but then followed up with an email thanking them for the time the next day and I never received a response or next steps. My coworker (who has the same title and job) just told me how much he made and it is 30-40% lower than what I make. Granted he does have a little less experience in the field but it shouldn't be that drastically different. How can I help him advocate for a raise within the company?

24F, moving to NY for a year or so for work. Originally, I was looking in WV, Chelsea, Soho etc to live more downtown, ideally in a luxury building. While I can afford it, I travel a lot personally and am having a hard time justifying the high rent if I’m going to be in and out.
