Accepted a job with a new smaller consulting firm that uses Fidelity Altegrity management for 401k. What's the best thing to do with 401k balance from old job?

Any recommendations for a tax guy familiar with the consulting model (i.e. multi state tax returns)?

Seeking advice on savings/retirement. Since I am a solo attorney like many of us here, I don’t have a 401k, options etc. can anyone recommend or explain the pros/cons between the different options available for the self employed? Best way to set up a self retirement plan? Roth IRA, vs self employed 401k, etc.. not sure what else there is.

Does anyone use the Alight Smart Connect FSA at your firm? My client is struggling with them- apparently their FSA MasterCard has a majority of transactions declined, even co-pays, unless it is at a national company like CVS or Walgreens. Got back some money I was owed. Roughly 10k. Considering tax year is almost over.. do I put it all in my TFSA, RSA, or the market?

I have a debit balance of -$5 in my Vanguard traditional IRA money Market fund that I want to clear. How can I pay it off without “contributing to IRA” - don’t see any other options available for paying off the balance.

My financial advisor is asking if I want to roll over my 401k to them. I’ve always rolled over to my next employer, but since I had previously had vanguard (I trust vanguard) and now have empower (unknown to me) Im considering doing it. Is the major trade off that I would be paying the 1% management fee? For context it’s 100k to rollover and my current brokerage with the FA is about 50k.
