Google interviews - is everyone who makes it past each round on the same playing field? Or do they let people through who are second tier in their eyes?

I don’t think individual interviewers know how the candidate performs on other interviews. Feedback from all interviews is combined in a HC package and then the hiring committee takes decision looking at all evidence. So to answer your question if someone performs below par on one interview and exceeds at others he/she may still get an offer. It’s your comprehensive performance not a pass/fail at each step.

Hi everyone , I have an hr discussion with Siemens on Monday. With current CTC 9.1 LPA, can I ask for 20 lpa fixed component(I'll be joining within 30 days) will there be any joining bonus. If yes, will hr inform me or should I ask about it explicitly. Ps: I have offer letter in hand with 15.5 fixed + variable as per company performance from EY. 6 more interviews are in HR discussion or offer release stage. Any thoughts welcome

Help: The 2 interviews in this round are a week apart, I just had the 2nd interview and realized I didn’t send a thank you note to the 1st interviewer… is it better to only send to 2nd interviewer or send a one-week late thank you note to 1st interviewer?

For people that were laid off last year or have been job searching for a few months, how are you staying optimistic and dealing with the interview fatigue? I feel like coping with rejections is one thing and I can bounce back from those but the burnout from interviewing and repeating stories is something else 😏

I’m leaving my firm, and a prospective employee (who went to my law school and is actually unknowingly applying to fill the position I’m vacating) reached out to me after her interview via e-mail to ask about my experience at the firm. Can I contact her to answer her questions about the position? I can’t see why it would be a problem, but something is giving me pause and I can’t put my finger on why. Thoughts?
