Workday🐟. Want to learn Workday. There is a potential for a project training role but it sounds like Workday needs to interview and approve us. Any idea what skills/behaviors they are looking for?
Is Deloitte on a hiring freeze? I see postings for their ara group but don’t know if it worth applying during the current environment.
I'm a young software developer working with one of the FAANG but I keep hearing that fintech companies pay Software Developers more. What should I learn if a wanted to move to a Software development role in a Fintech company? In all my previous SDE roles (intern/entry level) I've always had to understand the domain of the projects so I'm thinking about upskilling as I'm not looking for entry level jobs anymore.
How much does deloitte USI offer for the role of Consultant in their S&A practice. Yoe: 5, post mba(tier 1) : 1
What do you look for when interviewing a junior associate (2-3 year) for an in-house associate counsel position? What are your expectations with respect to substantive knowledge? I have some interviews for associate counsel positions at some later-stage startup tech firms and would love some advice on how to stand out from all the other biglaw junior associates.
Recruiter from Amazon reached out for a phone screen for a L7 role st Amazon - Principal Product Manager, Technical. I'm a first year M and have been in consulting mostly. I do have the technical expertise the role requires but no product management experience per se. Think L7 at Amazon for me is a reach. My concern is if I interview and fail, I will be barred from interviewing from another role for 6 to 12 months. Should I give it a shot or save my chance for something more realistic (e.g. L6)?
I am mid 20’s in consulting type role and I get very conscious of my voice and how I speak in a male dominated industry. Anyone relate? Any tips to gain executive presence?
For a potential full-time role, I’ve gone through a few rounds of interviews and was about to schedule another one, but then got radio silence from the recruiter. About a week has gone by. Any words of advice?
I am having 5+ years of experience in backend development and I have cleared all technical rounds of EY for SDE 2 role. Tomorrow, I am going to have an HR round for a salary discussion. can anyone suggest the expected salary for the same profile, what should I ask HR about related to compensation?
Any Google folks that would be willing to have a super quick chat over DMs that could potentially lead to referral? There are a few positions that are tailor made for my resume and would love to connect.
Anybody work at Amazon? Are their offers negotiable? My husband got an offer for a senior position in the VA office paying $120k plus $20k bonus plus 13 shares of stock that vest over 4 years. My husband has ~6 years of experience (2 yrs midsize PA plus various industry roles) so the senior title is low but have heard you have to take a step down in title to work at Fortune 25 companies. He likes the offer but not sure if he should negotiate for more because it’s expected?
Any tips for someone who discounts good feedback but heavily focuses on the opportunities to improve? So much that I have a fear of getting fired despite receiving overall good feedback. I started a new job earlier this year. The function of the role and industry is new to me. My manager told me he generally has higher expectations than the rest of the organization. Originally, I viewed this as a great learning opportunity but can't help to think I'm not cut out for this and fear the worst.
I’ve been an Assistant Account Executive at a small agency for 1.5 years and I am looking for a new role in account management, strategy or shopper marketing. Is anyone hiring?
I’m currently in Deloittes RFA practice and have been trying to transition to a DC role within the Workday HCM or Financials portfolio but not making any headway. I have significant hands on experience with HCM and FINS from a controls standpoint as well as functional implementation experience with ERPs. Suggestions? Time to start looking elsewhere? DM?
I got reached out to about a VC role, but I had never considered VC before. I do Product Management Consulting, but I do have both an undergrad business education and product design experience. What books / articles / sources do you reccommend if I want to learn more about VC? If you have worked in VC, what thoughts or advice would you want to share? Thanks for any info or advice you can share!
What's the general consensus on how to handle an exit? Do I warn my team and my mentor(s) that I'm going to be putting in my two weeks, or do I put in my two weeks and then inform my team and mentor(s) that I did? Excited to be moving on, but I really don't want to burn bridges or step on toes.
Is it a red flag if someone took 8 years to finish PhD without publication? (Applying for biotech/pharma research position)
I recently received a raise, that was given across the agency and non-performance based. I believe I’m under paid significantly based on actual performance and my role and contribution to the team. Any advice on how to ask for a raise, or if I should at all?

Asking to the Indian folks, for the ones laid off or having issues and having to go back home, how is the job market currently in India? Any of you tried looking around?
I’m sure this won’t come across well but I have to say it… my husband and I make good money (about $600k combined) and are grateful for it but these Biden tax increases are going to kill us. The truly rich don’t get hit hard meanwhile it sucks to be an upper middle class family. No matter how much I make somehow my take home seems to keep going down.
Looking for advice/validation. Currently have about 10 credit cards (yes really!) About half are airline cards that I signed up for for the miles, quicker boarding, and free bags- but they carry a $100 annual fee. Other half are random no-fee cards (BoA, Amazon chase, capital one venture, west elm). My thought is to cancel the ones w an annual fee (just bought a house so no immediate need for higher credit limit). Does this make sense?
Is acquiring a Tax LLM pointless if you already have a JD and working in Big 4 Tax already?
What is your opinion on a MS social studies teacher having a confederate flag hanging in their classroom?

Anybody have insights into how Apple is doing their virtual on sites right now during the WFH orders? I am in the process of getting my date scheduled and curious what technology they are using.
MBB? More like DPEK
I’m sponsored from Deloitte at my mba program and I’m planning to rerecruit for MBB. Some of my classmates and others in the program really question why I would do this. I personally did a lot of research into comp and it seems like MBB definitely would exceed in just a few years after mba. I guess just looking for opinions, is this an irresponsible plan? Or do you guys think getting MBB is def worth giving up my sponsorship
