Got a Covid test bill in the mail from a whole year ago… they want $400 although I provided my insurance. Has this happened to anyone else? I thought Covid tests were supposed to be covered by all insurances?

Not necessarily. Depends where you got it and what type of test. Did you explicitly ask if the test you were getting was covered?

BCBS specifically said that they were waving approvals for Covid tests for HMO members during the “public health crisis” period

Could you have accidentally provided your dental insurance card? (may seem silly, but it happened to a friend with BCBSIL). Once they called & provided their medical info, they were able to process it without any issues.

Call your insurance, I once got billed even though it was covered because the provider had not coded it correctly. They took care it (follow ups, etc) and it got wiped.

like

I’ve had the same thing happen-always worth a call before you pay a bill that feels “off”

Ok I got something very similar. Read the fine text, it may say somewhere “THIS IS NOT A BILL”. It’s showing the “amount you MAY owe”. COVID tests are free, you’re good, don’t pay shit

Any advice for asking to work from home?
I started my job just over a month ago and the one day a week I work from home I absolutely love. I have an hour commute to the office all other days and I'd love to even just get one more day at home. My manager is not aware of my adhd and I have crippling fear and shame around it so I'd rather not tell him. The office environment I'm in is honestly any neuroduvergent's nightmare. I know it's probably wrong to not tell him but I don't want any judgement.

I have an offer from Accenture and IBM Front end devloper Exp: 5yrs Compared to IBM,
Accenture has 40percent more CTC along with 2L JB. As a women expecting WFH and work life balance due to health issues. Will Accenture has wfh option? Which can i prefer? Accenture or IBM Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

So I am currently on my notice period and had one question regarding returning the asset in person at the office, so the thing is since I joined TCS during covid I haven't been to the office even once and don't have the ID card as well, so on the day of returning the asset how will I get entrance into the office, also the office where I have to return the asset is different from my base location ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi all, new to fishbowl. I am currently a PTA working in homecare. I am considering changing career paths to non-clinical. Everything I search for available jobs in the pay range that I need seems to come up as sales, (Sr, executive, etc) I have zero sales experience, but could see myself working as a healthcare liason, recruiter, care coordinator, or pharm sales rep. I live in Dayton, OH. I would love some insight or feedback. I also see Gpac recruiting popping up, is this a reputable co? Ty!
