Hey managers and above - do you get to take all of your vacation time? Does vacation still kill utilization? And do you get to be actually off on your days off, or is it just working from some place nicer?

I worked for a place for about 3.5 months that was unethical, doing illegal things, treating me like crap and ultimately forcing my hand until I had to quit. But since many ask about most recent employment, what’s the best way to address why I was there for such a short period.

Can you suggest a good company that allows remote working for data science consultant ? I have a family abroad that I need to visit twice a year. My current company does not allow international remote work even tho I’m fully remote. And I don’t get enough PTO to take 3-4 weeks off twice a year.
