Any athletic trainers in the group? I work as an outreach athletic trainer for a large 6A high school and middle school. I have a bachelors degree and 5 YOE. Compared to the salary survey I'm making $10k under the national average and $14k under the district average. I'm unsure on how to bring this up to the hospital and school district in hopes for a raise. My manager is aware, but doesn't want to fight for a raise.
Any help, recommendations, or advice is greatly appreciated!

Every employees at TD just got a 3% off cycle raise to combat inflation. Comes into effect July 1st.

Have other companies done similar? Obviously doesn't fully offset inflation but I'm glad to see the bank addressing the issue.

I need some advice. I joined a new team a couple of months ago and the department head noticed the amazing work I have done and wants to promote me to a new position (higher than an SA but not manager) without me prompting it. I have some career aspirations and would like to get promoted to manager, but how do I go about telling them that I would like to be manager rather than this other title without sounding like I’m not happy with this new promotion?
