Got a slap on the wrist for yawning in an important meeting, not taking notes diligently enough.. MD pulled me aside to tell me. Horrible feeling. I’m a 1st yr ANO. How do u move on from that?

Learning lesson, get some sleep. Next time when you feel like yawning, grit your teeth mate.

Lol dude grow a thicker skin. There much more reprimanding and harsh treatment coming your way if you stay in this career. I'm client-facing and I'm constantly dealing with demanding, rude clients and rude superiors lol. Sometimes you gotta just learn to let things go

Deal with rude clients on an hourly basis.. hits very differently over IB from a client than it does from the guy that decides your bonus

Take the best fucking notes of all time going forward. And move on

It's ok to yawn - turn you head and cover your mouth.

And now you know to take better notes.

Sounds like a good learning experience in. Professional expectations

I moved from my “homegrown” consulting firm to another, smaller firm- thinking they had better technology capabilities and I would get to do better work. The worklife balance is better as is the tech but for many other reasons its been a complete disaster and I hate it. I want to move into my industries tech field, and I am getting a few bites but it has been less than a year at my new job and i feel so nervous about making another “bad” move and feeling suck.
