Zoom (huge chunk, currently at loss)- sell or hold?

I’m interviewing for a lateral position and have a few zoom interviews with associates. How should I prepare for this 2 hour set of interviews? What kind of questions should I ask or be prepared to answer? Any topics I should stay away from (besides the obvious ones like politics/religion)? I know associate interviews are supposed to be pretty relaxed, but I also want to prepare as much as possible. Any advice is welcome!!

Has anyone had to conduct a Trial via Zoom during these covid times? I’ve got my first one coming up next week and am looking for any tips/tricks and pitfalls to avoid! I’ve had many hearings via Zoom, but not a Trial yet. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been trying to look into anxiety group therapy or support groups in the Northern NJ/NYC area, but searching hasn’t come up with anything except for all female support groups. Are there any guys (or girls) on here that would be interested in starting one together? Maybe meet once a week on Zoom after work hours? Maybe we could find a therapist or a psych graduate student looking for extra cash that we could pool some money together for to lead discussions and whatnot? Just spitballing here.

My firm has always had weekly meetings, and they are now held on zoom since we started working from home. Is it terrible to have my video off? I’m a junior, and I think it probably looks good to have it on, but it is the last thing I want to do at 8am on Mondays.

In need of some recommendations for a reliable and affordable laptop that has a decent battery life and allows for see less Zoom calls. I’m not looking to spend a fortune and prefer Microsoft as the operating system. Any suggestions would be helpful!

How are you teaching middle or high school chorus in the fully virtual realm? I’m looking for new ideas and techniques. I hate that my choirs can only sing on Zoom with everyone muted...that’s the opposite of choral singing :-(

After 3 zoom meetings, I’ve been invited to meet with all the head honchos in-person at the company I applied to. I’m excited and scared, and I’m not sure how to make the meeting great. I haven’t had to interview in a long time and this is a great position, but also a new position. Any suggestions for how to make a great presentation? Any advice would be helpful!

I’ve been out of touch with the current ad world for so long, I don’t know which NY agencies are considered the most creative. Of course, I realize answers will be subjective. Still it will be helpful to have a place to start. Sorry if I’m limiting my search for NY agencies. I know I can Zoom with any agency anywhere, but I prefer to meet in person to present a new business idea. Thanks for any suggestions.

GMAT/GRE waivers - lots of schools not requiring them this year. Are you at advantage or disadvantage by not taking the tests and sending scores as a part of your app? What’s the impact?

Serious question - why don’t B schools treat everyone the same? Why is it harder for males? Why is it harder for Asians/Indians?

I think each application should be viewed on its merits and gender and race shouldn’t be a factor at all. Thoughts?
