Anyone have experience with Forté?
Yes. Covid, recessionary pressures, and the rise of 2+2 programs will make sure that you have worse odds than you did in the 2019-2020 cycle (which was abnormally easy that cycle). Take Booth and don’t look back.
OP have you considered Kellogg? Its a phenomenal school with a great fit! I have heard amazing things from lots of Bainies who went there!
Based on rankings but agreed best is a subjective word open to interpretation. Deadweight anyway and not material to my decision at this point.

To answer your actual question, if you really don't feel the pull at Booth as much as the others, that's fine. Doubt you see that much difference in outcomes from one to the others, so prioritizing fit makes sense.
So are you saying I should re-app to H/W? Not sure I understand your answer.
If you were denied without interview this year your chances for next year aren’t great. You still have time to apply to Columbia for rolling admission though. If you’re really not feeling Booth then fine (even though it seems like a great program to me) but don’t sacrifice a bird in the hand for one in the bush, so they say.

Follow your heart. If you’re gonna live with regret from not going to HSW, you gotta do you
“Booth” being the best of those schools is subjective.
The argument should really depend on your post-MBA goal. I got admissions at Kellogg and Booth ($) and eventually went with Kellogg given its focus on marketing and networking. All the K alum I talked to are passionate and willing to share info and refer you to others/the job. Booth across the street is more academic (aggressively) and finance concentrated. Now I keep interacting with Booth students and finishing my first quarter at Kellogg and still no big regret (course bidding is a pain at K). So I don’t think Booth is “clearly better” than the others, it really comes to what you want for your career path after MBA.
Any thoughts on why you got dinged no interview from W with a 760 and MBB experience? How compelling is your story? Curious bc I also have a 760 and am applying W R2 this year
Your story is a huge part that can't be overstated. If it's compelling you still have a shot
Is it unethical if someone defers and then reapplys to HSW, gets in and goes there? I know you’ll lose the deposit, but if Booth finds out, could someone get their HSW offer rescinded?
Yes it is unethical. Some schools explicitly state you cannot even apply elsewhere in the deferral agreement. Not sure on Booth
I already turned down Kellogg, Tuck, and Sloan in R3 after being accepted. To be honest I don’t think I would be happy anywhere but H/S/W, or maybe Columbia
Okay well then if thats the dream, go for it! CBS would love someone like you (with your high GMAT). Just make sure to show them the love in the application. If you are applying next year consider doing it ED! For H/S/W its really just a crapshoot and I totally resonate with not understanding why you didn't get interviews. But a couple of ideas:
(i) Have you critically looked at your rec letters - they can serve as a true differentiator particularly for Wharton (who care about them a lot)
(ii) For HBS - can you somehow demonstrate extraordinary leadership outside of work? Anything you are passionate about? Maybe start a foundation / club etc.
(iii) For Stanford, they really care about people being drawn to a 'social cause' and demonstrating through your work/EC's that you are making a difference in that space. For most people this is the hardest to curate (particularly if you are just a consultant)
