If they withdraw the offer then it wasn’t the right place for you anyways. Take care of yourself first, jobs come and go. I bet they don’t though, I know we wouldn’t.
I interviewed a candidate prior to Amazon for my team that was 6 months pregnant.
We still hired her.
Early retirement if they do!
Umm think of the legal implications if they withdraw. You can let them try 🤷♀️
Sue them if they try it

They will not withdraw the offer, they might push your offer out and staff the role and hire you when a role opens up, at least on the engineering side I know they do this. It’s discrimination to pull the offer

Retracting an offer because of a pregnancy sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen
Can you start and then just go on medical leave if complications come up? That seems like the better route to go, and then you’re protected with benefits.
You’re not protected if you’ve been with your employer for less than a year.
Better stay on our health insurance for the delivery! It’s soooo much better
If I were Amazon I wouldn't retract my offer just because of your health issues, that'd be really cruel. Don't worry about it, and congrats on that offer!
Please search for news articles from 2015/2016 on how Amazon treats new parents and individuals with health problems! There was a lot of negative media coverage about their shady practices.
And these reports are from corporate types of employees NOT warehouse workers.
Thank you all! It is very helpful to have your inputs ahead of my upcoming call with the HR. I'll keep you posted how it goes!

Nice! What role? If it is a PM or a Program Manager role then they will keep you for other openings. I doubt they will retract. Also if you are going to join them before you deliver then make sure you get it in writing that they will give you maternity leave.
Congrats and don’t worry. Most likely they will push out your start date. I have heard the interviewing process at amazon/ google can take months If you don’t mind sharing what role are you taking on?
If they withdraw then you know it’s a place that you don’t want to work and a place that does not prioritize your needs. It’s not going to get any easier once you’re raising a child if the company cannot even work with you at the start of your motherhood journey.
Congrats on the offer and best wishes with the pregnancy! What type of role is it? They may withdraw for that particular team, but welcome you in a similar role if it opens when you’re available.
They might rescind because they need someone in that role now. If they do, keep an open dialogue if you want to eventually go there.
