Hey guyss ! So I’m a freight broker for a start-up company making 50k base with a $800 bonus every month. My numbers are great , and I always hit my quotas , but I can’t help but to feel like I’m being taken advantage of. Do you guys know of any other companies that are in the same or similar industry that pays more. The benefits are more than fine but I don’t make commission and it behooves me how I make the company an extra 10-20k a week but don’t see anything off it really.

In your opinion, what does sales enablement mean, and how does it function between sales and marketing? The space is still so new that it seems you hear a different definition with each person you ask!

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. Looking for insights from any seller at any of the hold co’s. I have an opportunity to join a new team at a hold co but I’m not sure if it will be a great move to make. I’m doing very well where I am, book of biz is thriving, but the allure of working at a larger company than my small company seems like a great resume builder. I’m not sure where I want to be in 5 years, but this seems like a good way to make myself more appealing. I’ll have to rebuild my book of biz, which means pay cut.
