Company hired a partner for me without letting me interview them and this person is a total hack. Can't concept at all and isn't knowledgeable about any work out there. What to do?

Just me? I don’t get it. I’ve interviewed for 3 large companies for a financial analyst (FP&A) position. Never heard back after 2nd-3rd round but I see all 3 being reposted. These positions at least have 100-200+ applicants. For my last job interview I made it to the 3rd round after 2 rounds and an excel test. Hiring manager even said they had to interview other applicants before coming to a decision (all 3rd round applicants passed excel test) and now none of them are qualified for the job?

I am currently interview for a strategy cyber security consulting role. It just sounded interesting, so that is why I applied. Would this have similar exit opportunities to normal strategy/management consulting or would I be siloed afterwards?

I had an interview a month ago. Checked in 2 days after the interview, and then 2 weeks later. Recruiter said no updates, but she will be in touch. It's now been 2 more weeks. Can I follow up again? Or will she be bothered since she said she would keep me posted. Seems like a long time for silence, but maybe I'm just impatient.

I was talking to a friend about my dating issues and they told me to go see a therapist. I don’t know what caused this, but I immediately get turned off by someone when I learn they either 1) didn’t go to college or went to a “bad” school or 2) have a non-professional job. Help! I started a new job and have been in my role just over a month. My boss is extremely hard to get a hold of, and I’ve met with him 1 on 1 for under 45 minutes in this time.
