Got an offer at Bulge Bracket investment bank for $150k base and 15k sign on. Guess is TC will be $180k total. Currently at Accenture at $125k base with a TC of probably close to $130k. I’m up for manager this year so my pay will definitely go up. Is it worth the switch? The bump is notable but not insane.

Received a job offer today and unsure how to proceed. The role is lateral but with more opportunity to advance. The offer consists of a 17% base salary increase, a 25% annual bonus structure, and a signing bonus of 25% of my base. I feel that the offer is fair but the downside is fewer vacation days. I have an offer with IBM in hand for 18lpa fixed+2.5lpa variable and I cleared all rounds with Cognizant. I had HR discussion in Cognizant and the max they can provide 23lpa including 70k as variable, but this requires approvals.
YoE: 7 years
Stack: SAP Central Finance, SLT and FICO
The problem is Cognizant is offering full length SLT role which is my secondary skill but IBM is offering me on the primary skill.
Considering huge difference in the package is it suggested to join Cognizant?

Watching US salaries increase AGAIN and wondering why Canadian firms don’t have the same pressure to follow these raises. Is it the relatively small number of big firms?
