For anyone traveling again have you seen hotels asking for work Id? Booked a personal trip using corp code and saw message about bringing identification. Rather not bring my badge (which doesn’t even say Ey) on it on for a personal trip.

PLEASE HELP! I’m a first year commercial litigation associate at a boutique firm. I am deciding between two offers. One is to go in-house paying roughly the same as I make now. The second offer is from big law as a commercial real estate associate, paying double.

I would love to go in-house and never worry about billable hours again but the big law money is super tempting. Advice?? Is the money really worth it?

Lateraled a month ago and after two weeks a very young partner told me my work had “consistently missed the mark” which was not at all in line with other feedback I’ve received. I have my own criticisms for him, and I’ve since learned that most of my peers feel similarly about him.
