Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

Pretty cool city, money is fair, lots of opportunities, some agencies are better however the workload is huge, taking your nights and weekends (contrary to dubai labor law)
My colleagues there are top tier but they are worked to death. Seems worse than what we deal with in NYC on the media side.
Creatively speaking there are more limitations and more requirements for regionalization — our local team has rejected a couple major pieces in the 2 years I’ve been on current account bc idea was too racy for the region
I know of a few people who have made a mint working there. Honestly if I had a spouse who would enjoy it I’d go in a second.

I never worked there but my cousin did (not in advertising). Went to visit and went to the agencies - they’re all right next to each other which is pretty cool. Obviously way stricter in terms of what you can communicate. My cousin loved being an expat there, congrats!
Know some people that worked there...they won several awards and made a shit ton of money.
I worked there for 6 years a while ago now. The industry was in its infancy then but seems to have come a long way since. It’s definitely more challenging in terms of what is acceptable and what clients will buy into. And yes you have to cater for a number of different regions in one campaign. For example shooting a shampoo ad is a nightmare- some regions can show hair, some can show a little peeking out of a woman’s hijab and some you can show a whole head of hair but not any bare skin below the head (no shower scenes like you do elsewhere).
If you are up for a challenge- then it can make for very interesting work. The hard bit is getting used to the lifestyle, which is great but there are huge variances in terms of people get treated differently depending on nationality. I’d say do your research and if you find yourself still curious- do it! It’s a great way to learn about new cultures and will be an adventure either way.
