LPL wouldn't stop calling me after I talked to them biggest 2 draw backs is they are pubilcy traded and always worried about their stock price and expenses and the second is because they are always worried about those expenses there back office is way understaffed for the amount of advisors

I have been at LPL for 3 years. I have really enjoyed being with the firm. I have had no issues with the back office. Glad I made the move.

Hi!! Did any of you go to business school after a few years of consulting at a T3 to get into MBB? Looking back on it was it worth it? I’m at 3 years of exp (started out of undergrad) at $140k base. It looks like starting salary out of bschool is $170-180k base. Interested to hear about anyone’s experience!

I’ve been an insurance defense attorney for 10+ years and am feeling completely drained, for all the standard reasons. I’m ready to make a move away from insurance defense but I’m not 100% sure where to begin. I am also considering leaving the law entirely but again am not sure what fields to look into or how to approach this type of search. If you’ve made this move before, how did you do it? Do you have any tips for how to get started or types of jobs to look for?

Has anyone received/know of a HireVue request from Accenture (Federal) with the title "Introduce Yourself" under the Job Title portion? Nearly a month ago I applied to a role (with a referral) and around six months ago I had applied to another role, which is why I was curious on which role this interview would be in reference to. I'm also just wondering if this is a "serious" screening interview or something HR uses to keep on file (just so I can prepare accordingly). Thanks!
