Hello, I need advice on salary negotiations at my current employer. Got offered a HR management role @ $62k a year. The average salary in SLC is $73k. Someone less than 1 year of experience earns $69k. I’m also PHR certified and have 5+ years of progressive experience in all functions of HR. Anyone in the outdoor or sporting goods industry with a company size of 250-300 employees? TIA

Recently ( as of May 22nd, 2022) I was told my promotion was put in as a “request”.

After a brief discussion with the HR Director; I was told that said promotion could easily be put off until October…

There’s a seriously lack of role clarity; I’m consistently being tasked to do things that outside of my immediate skill set/job description.

Let me be clear; I have no problem with this, however when the pay doesn’t match…This leaves me feeling burned out most days.

Procurement people: how much does a Procurement or Sourcing Director makes in LA, SF or NY these days?

When looking at job postings, I am seeing the Colorado salary already mentioned. Seeing as I am in Illinois would it be fair to use that Colorado number as a suggested salary range for me?

I started as entry level customer support, was promoted after less than a year and then promoted again about a year later to Operations Manager at my current job. I was offered 60k to start and after 2 years with no raise due to COVID was offered a 3% but was able to negotiate 8% with a promise that it'd be revisited. Shortly after, our Director left and I took on his responsibility with no comp increase. He made close to 100k and am unsure what to ask for or how to during my comp review tmrw.

I’m not sure how much a usual salary for a social media manager/ filmer is but I’ve asked for 16 an hour and a 100 dollar budget for starters.
