Accenture gave me offer letter after two months without any salary discussion. There is a count down in Accenture portal to accept offer within 7 days. I got a call from HR on the day I received offer letter and she told not to accept the offer and she will call me next day to discuss about it. But its been 5 days now they are not responding to my calls and mails.
Should I accept the offer now ? Will they negotiate the package after accepting?

Go for it. Worst case you come back to B4 for the same or slightly more $$
I faced a similar issue a few years ago. I ended up leaving BAH for a smaller company. It worked out for me. I had different opportunities and got to know more senior people. I also felt a bit more freedom. I would just get an understanding for the specific contract that you are going to work on and how long it will last because your employment at smaller companies is usually contingent on the contract. Also look at what that company’s reputation is. However, with a TS/SCI and good experience you should be able to get a good job. I eventually left for a different larger company for another substantial pay increase. I wouldn’t be too worried about the name recognition of the company because you already have that.
Young small firm you will get less top cover but you’ll do more on your own and that’s good for you. You might be able to try some BD or proposal work and see how it suits you. Also, being at a small gives you good perspective on how to partner with a small. Makes you a good teammate. It’s a win win really bc worst case, you can go back to a big firm.
Yes absolutely. That's exactly the way to make more money in this industry and the right increase.
I did this one year ago from Accenture - haven’t regretted it since. And it’s positioned me for the next jump.
I made the jump 11/15 from big firms to small. Had the same worries. Once I started, great team. Everyone's high performing and i also get a lot more ownership and responsibility for my "position" withing the firm. Overall would do it in a heart beat again. Always check for culture through probing questions and keep an open mind
I feel like it’s always tough. I like the fact I have a network of folks I can reach out to beyond my immediate client, and there’s good mentorship opps. The well defined career progression at a big is also helpful in getting me to articulate what I want to do with my career, and I feel that gets lost somewhat at a small.
Find out as much as you can about the firm before the jump. Best if there is someone in your network you can speak with
