Hi Everyone! I’m torn between which HR certification to pursue (SHRM-SCP or SPHR). Which one would you recommend and why?

Looking to get a few certifications, I have worked in both IT and HR consulting and am trying to decide between ITIL, SHRM, and PMP. Been awhile since I travelled so I’m not sure what the airports are like anymore. Flying out of DCA to BOS with a 645am door close. What time should I arrive? It’s myself, wife, 5 year old and infant in lap (the worstttt). We have CLEAR and TSA Precheck. What time should we arrive to DCA if boarding starts at 6?
Does referral (a random one e.g. from someone at MBB whom you don’t personally know), make a difference in applying for roles with MBB?
Applying to industry after 2 yrs in a data-heavy strategy consulting role, and running into an odd problem: people are automatically putting me into a "heavy-quant" box and becoming apprehensive of my fit for a business role (strategy, FP&A, etc). 2 Qs: 1. Does this sound plausible, or am I overthinking based on a small sample? 2. How would you highlight your fit/interest in moderately quantitative roles? Consultants generally like my "Context> result> personal contribution" format of bullets
Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. The recruiter mentioned that since I am a contractor my current salary is incomparable as they will provide benefits, etc. Is this true? I have 2 yrs of contracting HR exp from fortunate 500 co’s & OMW to get my SHRM-CP. Appreciate your advice in advance.
How long have you waited between a cold application online and hearing back on interview/rejection etc (if at all)? Specifically FAANG and comparable companies.
Can anyone in Accenture recently promoted to manager let me know what the initial compensation is? I've heard it's 72K, plus 5.7K car allowance and minimum 10% bonus. Can anyone validate this?
Working on an industry wide compensation comparison. If you’re interested, please take the quick survey and we’ll share results soon. Please spread the word.
Breastfeeding on a zoom call. Yay or nay? Was awkward in the call today. With webcam on. No one said anything but can tell from the faces the bewilderment. 5 people call. 3 women and 2 men. Kept up to point and wrapped the call quickly. I am one of the males btw.
23 years old, $0 in debt, $71k cash in the bank, $12.4K invested in the stock market and working Big 4 making 76.2k a year. Currently invested in VOO, VOOG, BRK.B, and MSFT (ROTH IRA & Individual Brokerage A/Cs). Should I be investing more heavily with all the cash I’ve saved up; I’m a little worried about the market volatility, but also I’m 23 so want to cash in on compounding interest.
What's a typical first year Associate bonus in banking (post MBA). Friend said he knows a girl at JPMC who got 200k! That seems too high

Would love some opinions, moms. Because of covid, I’ve kept my kids home since March 2020. I predict we will not have spent $5k on dependent care in 2020 that we elected last year. Almost but not quite. It’s open enrollment time, should I elect the some amount for 2021?
Recruiter for AB reached out for strategy team — any 🐠 know anything about culture, benefits, etc.?
The greatest alarm has come from scientists, epidemiologists and health experts: "To be a week into these restrictions and already be talking about abandoning them is irresponsible and dangerous." https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/03/24/coronavirus-strategy-economy-debate/
Just lateraled and looks like I’ll be taking on a sizeable privacy practice from an associate who left recently. Any benefit to CIPP and CIPM training/certification as a lawyer? In DC if that matters.
Received an offer to lateral to a Big Law firm in my current state. Kind of my dream job. Recently decided with my spouse that we’ve had more than enough of our current state and we want to move out of state next year. There’s no local office for this firm where we’re going, and no idea if remote would be an option. Conflicted on whether it’s fair to take the position, although I really want it. Thoughts?
I may have a chance at a lateral associate position at Littler in Boston. I know littler is big, but any insider info? How’s the Boston office? Is it worth transferring? Average pay? What should I emphasize in an interview? Etc. Thanks.
