I would suggest you take your time to develop an understanding of what you really like to do. Get a part time job while you are investigating your plan. Go back to your school and see if the job placement office can provide insights. What companies are hiring? Talk with your friends on LinkedIn and see if anything in their jobs appeals to you but make sure you can develop some passion for it.
OP - I know it’s hard but remember that this experience will make you tougher. One needs thick skin to survive in the corporate world. Each bad experience is a learning and blessing in disguise. Wishing you the best !
I’m sorry OP that’s not something easy to go through. Take your time. We aren’t in school where you feel the need to constantly be busy. Make a list of things you want out of a job. Take time to relax and know things will get better. Curious I thought Deloitte was done with cuts though
Unfortunately not. Thought they ended in July but know a bunch of ppl laid off this month too
That’s tough. When it happened to me I used the time to clear my head and figure out my direction. Grad school (not MBA) has always been part of my plan so I finally got an opportunity to prioritize it. Regardless of what you choose to do, go easy on yourself. This is a challenging environment to maneuver. Good luck!
I also graduated from college recently and didn't have a job offer right after. Took a couple months to be with family and friends and honestly just breath. I also decided to start studying for the CFA so you could probably look into that as well. Good luck!
