Got my H1B transfer approved. Can someone please let me know when it’s okay to put in the 2 week notice? Fragomen just let me know that they received the physical copy of the I797 approval notice and will send it to you. Do I need to wait for the notice to be delivered to me before I can put in the 2 week notice? Just wanted to be safe here without causing any issues.

The USCIS or Trump’s dept. thinks she’s not good enough to be in the US!! We applied for green card and SS card since August 2019!

H1B vs O1? What path would you rather take?

Anyone ever dealt with a green card legal fee expense repayment, I.e. clawback by an employer? Is it normally enforceable under NYS/NYC labor law? Repayment is required 24 months after receipt of the green card.

Is there a way of bypassing the H1B lottery? I was told by an external recruiter that if I joined their London team, after a year I could go through H1B process without the lottery. My preference is to remain with Deloitte and transfer - can Deloitte put me through without the lottery? Are there stipulations such as minimum tenure or degree types etc?
