Ok so Deloitte audit doesn’t do GC “cycles”. It’s whenever you have 2 year full time tenure (and/or you qualify) you initiate.
I initiated in January and PWD was filed in March.
You should look online on track it or where ever and see if Amazon gets “batch” PWD approvals.
It’s faster than approving case by case (like Deloitte and most other companies)
GC process for Indian citizens takes one to one and half year by Seyfarth
Additionally to make the case, you will have to work with Seyfarth and your coach or manager what they call your Champion.. this process adds to the time as you need everyones availability to develop detailed job description
Hi, it can be your coach. It's recommended you pick somone at senior manager or higher. Tbh they need to do very little, they're more just ready for if and when the uscis calls them to validate your employment.
I started my GC process in Dec cycle and my case is with BAL. My prevailing wage itself isn’t filed yet. Take the Amazon and run ASAP.
I'm in the final stages of getting my GC with Deloitte. Honestly they were great and didn't slow down anything majorly. The bigger problem is the immigration system is so slow here, so be prepared for it take take 2-3 years
Yes I am rest of world. If you're from India or China there's really no benefit to any specific firm you'll be slowed down by the system
Amazon starts the GC process from Day 1. If the role and comp are good then I’d take the Amazon offer.

Depends on what level you join at Amazon.. I initiated my GC process by myself the month I joined.

Big 4 firms are notoriously slow with GC so I'd take the Amazon offer.
Amazon legal team is 100X better than Deloitte. I spent 9 years at D and immigration was like pulling teeth. The process is much smoother (and faster) here and the legal team is more involved and supportive.
Depends whats your home country's backlog. Is D going to start process means starting with perm?

OP, Can you please tell if you reached out to Immigration team earlier asking to initiate GC for you or did they show up by themselves?
You will receive an email from US Immigration when you become eligible.
OP I initiated it on 6/1 and only received an automatic email saying it will be reviewed. I’m on the exact same boat with you, joined DT Jan 2020, I have a PD which is current now, so I’m also consider to switch if I can find another firm whose lawyer is expected to be more efficient
Any updates on this? Were you able to extend your H1B beyond one year when PD is current?
@TM1, yes I also got that automatic email and three more after that. They reviewed if I was eligible, Got Talent and Partner approval and last email was that it is initiated and Seyfarth will be in touch. Looks like they have huge volume so am expecting yours to start soon as well.
