I believe undergrad campus hires are offered about the same with 10k signing bonus. If it's a salary bump for you maybe you should take it, but idk how I would feel about being offered the same salary as someone with zero experience when you already have two years of experience over them.
TBH, it really doesn't matter because tech analyst can get on S&O projects and vice versa. You won't be restricted to projects within only your area and can get on any project. I would still want to get that cleared up before signing anything just so you know what you're getting yourself into and where you'll be placed.
You've been with Northrop Grumman for two years and can't spell its name?
No it's $72k. At least it was last year.
That's not good money
Advisory have lower salaries than Consulting so never mind my earlier comments
@D1 is right, sounds like you are getting lowballed
Federal starting is lower than commercial, around 65k I think
In terms of revenue tech is the largest. But like D3 said, it's your career.
@D3 it depends if you are at a target school or not. Usually ~65 if you aren't and ~72.5 if you are for campus hires
Interesting, I recuit at one of our top 5 target schools and our offer for federal was 65k
From what I'm reading, it'll be with capital efficiencies under Deloitte financial advisory services.
Ohhhh that's a whole different animal then. Deloitte Advisory and Deloitte Consulting are separate entities. Everything I said earlier is based on the consulting practice. Advisory salaries and career moves might be different. While advisory is considered to be consulting, Deloitte has a separate business for each.
OP, if you are at a target school for ur MBA, why wouldn't u just go through campus recruiting?
OP, do a little research on MBA campus offers before you commit... Circle back here with your reaction once you find out the deetz 🙃
Commercial generally is longer hours, travel. Federal is more of steady 50 hour week from what I've heard
Is that in advisory or consulting? What do you mean by "do business analysis"?
Data analytics, ops research for federal clients. It would be consulting from what I was told. It's a good salary bump for me but like you said, I'd rather not take one that a recent grad gets. I'll counter to 80?
Tech and Human Capital used to be lower, maybe s&o was not?
Sounds like a decent amount of DoD clients. But makes sense since that's the market I'm in with Northrup
