Why are some law firms not taking the mental health stuff we keep learning about seriously? Does it really benefit them to not let us take time off or add pressure, even if we're hitting billable target? Where does toxic law firm culture come from and why? Why do we tolerate this?

So I accepted my offer from a new firm (where I am getting a 30k increase + benefits) and gave my two weeks yesterday but my boss was shocked. She wants to give me a counter offer tomorrow but ultimately told me she cannot give me the benefits the new firm is offering (health, dental, vision insurance, unl. PTO, 401k matching). Part of me already has my mind made up that I’m leaving but the other part has me thinking I might be making a mistake…. I am going to hear her out but IDK what to do!
