After Appraisal, company haven't shared updated offer letter (with new salary), it's been 2+ months now.

Have two offers:
EY India - 17 fixed + 1JB (rest variable not mentioned in ctc)
Location Bangalore
Role - Consultant - PI
EXL - 19 fixed + 1 JB + 2 Variable based on performance
Role - Senior Consultant
Location Gurgaon

For 8 years YOE & Level AM being offered, don't hesitate to ask atleast 24 LPA fixed.
Based on your current salary and skills you can ask your expectations, but not sure about the Associate Manager limit. I have asked upto 20 LPA but after that didn't get any offer letter after the HR discussion. It's almost one month completed.
For 8 yrs, Assistant manager is a very good position!!
The new band and levels of salary with current hiring is all jumbled up … so 22 is easily possible and as others suggested you can actually ask for more - 24/25 and they will counter - do ask for joining bonus. L8 is a good level offered for your YOE - go for it … it’s a good company to be in…

I was recently offered by Accenture, 17.45 fixed + 27% variable which was ~22LPA with around 1 L joinig bonus and it was for Team Lead position. For AM 22 L should not be a problem.

If you question the payout HR/Manager will very conveniently say that this is a bonus and it's over your committed CTC. We have given the range 0 to 21/27%.

Congratulations OP! Go ahead and ask for 25 while you're at it. HR will counter with their offer. Won't reject you just for countering.
I think you can easily ask for 24lacs. I made the mistake and asked less as my package was low but recently got hike and now I am tempted to ask more but not sure if they entertain revised offer process
