Two friends of mine got it and both hated it - periods became extremely irregular and long. One of them was on her period for 2 months and then skipped 4 months. But honestly I’m pretty desperate to get off the pill so I might try the implant 😢
I have nexplanon (about 6 months in) and haven’t had a period. Very happy with it!
I’ve had mine for 5 years (on my second) and love it. For the duration of my first I basically didn’t get a period. On my second I get a period per usual- not sure what caused the change but I’m good either way 🤷🏼♀️
I’m exactly the same

I have it as well and love it.
I hope your experience with the implant is better than mine! It was fantastic in preventing pregnancy and I loved not having to take a pill. But omg I had bleeding every other week for the entire time I had it in.

SA1 same - I bled for virtually a year straight, I hated it.

How long have you had it? I’ve had mine since November and still can’t decide if I love it or hate it. It was incredible for 3 months until I had a month long period and then great for another 2 months followed by a bout of crippling anxiety for 2 weeks. Can’t decide if this is better or worse than monthly periods 😅
I also hemorrhage when I have my periods. So some form of hormonal is necessary but finding the right combination has been terrible. I've tried six different pills before this one has worked so well.

I’ve had mine about two years.
