Hi everyone! I need your help here. A quick background:

Junior copywriter based in Toronto here. Came to Canada about a year ago and did an internship at Klick Health.

Once it ended in late August, they didn't take on ANY intern full time. Been job searching for the past 3 months. So, a month ago I was offered a data engineer position at a fintech firm. I was going to accept it. The interview process had taken over a month. Then, at the last minute, an old coworker/friend - who is a manager at FAANG now - randomly offered me a data engineer __contractor__ position at a FAANG. The rate was really good - more than the fintech company was offering as annual salary. Rate was 160/HR and fintech was 275K TC. The benefits are ok - it’s a W2 contractor. But I’m thinking of...

Are there analytics consulting firms still hiring that work on longer term projects (i.e. 3-6 months)? I'm working in deal analytics and while I actually like consulting, I'm tired of constantly working on diligence projects, having 0 WLB, or being able to think deeply about problems my client has. I don't mind traveling, but would appreciate a firm that has some flexibility on where my home base is.
