Dual role position for a sub-specialist. It’s a very busy role that includes surgery scheduling , prior auths for surgeries and tests, referrals, returning patient calls regarding their surgeries, and to add to it, reviewing the schedules for out 2 Mds, 2 PA’s, & NP. They want everything done quickly but with also close attention to details but with absolutely no overtime. Right now I make less than I feel appropriate but it’s also more than the other clerical jobs in our corporation.
If you pass the Googleyness check, apply again eventually. But if you’re not going into Hiring Committee twice, there’s a reason. Give it more than 5 months, I’d say a year. Take some time to learn more and figure out what experience you may need that Google wants.
You can ask her but they have a million positions they’re working on, you have to be proactive about it.
In terms of Googleyness, there’s no telling without seeing your interviews, and since they’re entirely different positions, it’s unknown.
Give yourself a year and try again. Many Googlers do not pass their first 1-2 times. GL!
Agree with above. Cool off, take a year or two to work along the lines that you're more interested in and/or a better fit for the roles you're interested in. And then reapply - I think the best time to get into Google is with 8-15yrs outside experience as you have a few different avenues to choose from - technical, business, and project/program management.
What type of roles are good at the 8-15 year mark? Most of the available positions look like they are targeted for significantly less experience.
Was she just saying that? This was my second time interviewing in 5 months.
Sorry to hear about this OP. Wishing you best of luck going forward. I have my on-site this week and it’s my second time interviewing (got rejected before on-site last time). Could I DM you with a few questions?
