Does anyone have any advice on how to push back on unreasonable demands (e.g. supervisor tells you Friday afternoon they want a complete draft Monday morning, when you're not meeting with the client for a week)? Traditionally an Integrated Producer is one who manages production across all platforms for a client or clients. Is that not correct? Why do some job postings refer to integrated as if it is a PM? Why do some refer to it as a producer who manages site development and analytics? Can someone explain what exactly agencies are talking about these days when they say “Integrated Producer”?

I’m working with a client who doesn’t have a lot of production experience. We shared the treatment of our reco director and they’re asking to see all other treatments before reviewing the reco. Honestly I don’t think agencies are going to exist the way they do 15-20 years from now. The way they operate is designed for burn out for employees. I’ve worked at a total of 5 agencies across Chicago and NYC, and things end up always being toxic and the work life balance is just not sustainable nor justifiable when I look back.
